Impending Soak Test: What does that Mean for Liberty .9?

I just had to get a new Droid2 due to some errors (Refused to get a signal and made my pants a virtual oven) and was going to flash the leaked Gingerbread.
BUT with the looming Gingerbread date on the rumored horizon, so I don't have to SBF back to Froyo, should I wait a little bit and see how the official GB shakes out?
Or will I do better to Flash to Leaked GB and then Flash to Official GB when it comes out??

Its not that difficult or time consuming to sbf. I would install the leak then see how the official gb shakes out. Also, just because its announced doesn't mean it is coming right away. Also, if you are rooted and run a rom, the official gb probably won't support that until someone hacks it and figures it all out.
