So, I was having an issue with my Incredible and I thought maybe by hitting "format boot" in the partitions menu that it would fix it. Now the phone wont load. Please help, I'm a moron when it comes to this phone.

Are you rooted? And when you say the phone won't boot, what exactly is it doing?

Yes I'm rooted and when I power it on it goes right into the white screen with the three androids at the bottom and the 4 options of FASTBOOT, RECOVERY, CLEAR STORAGE, and SIMLOCK.

Awesome, so it is definitely doing the job, but two things are happening and I don't know if the first thing matters or not.

1. When doing "wipe data/factory reset" it is saying at the end 'No app2sd partition found. Skipping format of /sd-ext.

2. When loading the ROM from the zip during the installation, when it gets to "writing BOOT" it says
writing BOOT:...
E: No space left on device
E: Error writing BOOT
E: Failure at line 89:
write_raw_image PACKAGE: boot.img BOOT:
Installation aborted

I assume I'm out of space, how do I create more space?
And is it need on the sd card or on the device?

Are you trying to flash Redemption 2.3 or a different ROM?

Ignore the app2sd message- doesn't matter.
