clockworkmod recovery issue

So my wife was trying to push froyo 2.2 to her droid. It wouldn't install. So she decided she was going to go into the partitions menu and do "Format System" Now it wont even boot. How do I fix?

When you say it won't boot, are you able to access the recovery menu? And she is on a D1, correct?
