ICS Update for Droid Bionic

Since September is the last month of Q3, they should be releasing the ICS Update for Droid Bionic within this month... I really hope they would.. And it seems that their sales representatives are saying that they would.. Anyone think they might skip September also??? Btw, I have to say that I wouldn't mind waiting for the ICS update if it doesn't screw up my phone like it did for the Razr's

Yeah.. just like they said "early Q3". They can bite me with their "timetables". Just remember how you got boned next time you go to Verizon and they want to sell you a phone that "Motorola promises will get the next version of the OS when it comes out in 3 months".

Just like the other thread said..

Call back 9 more times and talk to 9 other specialists, and you'll get answers including "tomorrow", "next week", "soon", "after the election", "never", "I think Bionic already has ICS, or was that the RAZR?", and "there is no such phone as a Bionic". Oh, and you'll get cut off the other two times - while they check.

Still proud that my sig was still the most accurate guesstimate in February

what really messed up is everyone is probably on the ICS leak now and when the update comes out noone will even know its out:icon_eek: ...on a side note a guy from radioshack informed me that ICS will be out in early Nov. How he knows is his uncles cousins friends sister that live near motorola factory heard about it.

Yeah, but I didn't call and speak with a random tech/rep. My info is from their official facebook page, which tends to be a little more accurate?

2 days is not very old news either...Its actually one day as I posted the facebook conversation yesterday and that thread was started the day before.

It doesnt really matter much when the ota is going to be released, if it ever is because us bionic owners running .242 already have it

What would be sick and convoluted of Moto is if they do release the OTA soon and label it .250, but change the security, and lock out all those that are on .242 by creating only the FXZ for .250 and beyond.....LOL..:blink: or not...

No guarantee .242 will be the OTA but there's a very good chance. What does it matter anyway? No ones making people flash .242. As a matter of fact the person who could help you get the OTA if it's not .242 is advising people not to use it unless you already have .235 or .238 installed.

It will be Verizon, not Moto and the OTA is going to be .231 :icon_eek:
