True but I am sure you cant go and tell them that you want it with out an sdcard so you will only have to pay 199.99. Then hey who knows it might work.
I am very interested in the TB and have been following this and other threads. Since all of the 3/21 hooplah yesterday, I have really been trying to watch this specific thread. The TB release date thread. The last 2.5 pages are about memory card prices, etc. A couple of members tried to talk about the earthquake and a mod quickly told them to post in another thread and keep this one on topic. Then it went right to SD Cards. I am pretty sure there is at least one SD card thread in the TB subforum, but no one has been directed there.
Is this a release date thread? That's the info a lot of us are looking for, but we may have to go elsewhere to find an organized discussion.

SD card spawned from discussion of the 299 price tag for the TB...
$45 for 32 GB? Do you know what speed-class it was? At that price I'd be surprised if it was anything other than Class 2.
Understandable, but there are price discussion threads in the TB subforum too. Ñot trying to be picky, just want to use thread titles to find info/discussion about specific TB items.
I'm 100% with you on that. The choices are get the phone or don't. If you wait long enough for the price to drop, there will probably be something out there newer and better. This is the phone I want at this time and I will have to pay what they are charging. There really isn't anything I can do about what percentage profit they are making.
The price of the sd card is pertaining to the tb. People are wanting to know why the tb is 100 bucks more than the evo. SO if you add the 32 gig sd card that explained the price. Right now nothing has changed about the status of the TB. If we have any breaking news about a definite date we will make sure its easy for users to find with out them having to navigate through pages. Right now people are just discussing various info about the tb in this thread.
The manufacturer gets those sd cards WAY below retail. They are not paying any where near $100.00 for those.
The reason its $100 more is because its an LTE device. The first on Verizons glorious network. In other words great marketing....

It's been a little while since we've bothered with rumored launch dates for the HTC ThunderBolt because at this point, we're not sure anybody knows just yet when the darn thing's going to drop. But the above e-mail just reached us, and there's the ol' T'Bolt, clearly listed at March 17. Of course, it's also noted that "Launch Dates Are subject to change" -- which, of course, they are.
March 17 isn't the only date that's being thrown around, of course, but it's one of the few that we've seen put to paper recently. Will it pan out? We'll know next Thursday. Thanks, anon!
FWIW: Yes, that image looks like something that could be faked in about 30 seconds. The original image we cropped it from is much more telling. (Which is why we cropped it.) Does that mean it's right? News at 11.
