Look, we've seen a crap load of commercials which are the only true "official" evidence that this phone is coming soon, yes it says coming soon but it has to be in February, HTC tweeted that it was shipping them and that was a week ago, plus Miami said the 24th, and if not then, the 28th, it will be here guys, and it will be worth it, this phone is definitely worth waiting for, I'm on my OG Droid and it is better than my brothers evo in my opinion and that is because of the unlocked bootloader that many have taken advantage of, this phone will have one plus updated hardware which will only make it better to root and ROM, and my true opinion is that apple is a little bit behind this, best buy is completely retarded, vzw is failing a little with a date, and htc isn't saying much.

Those two guys are full of it miami and blackmanx if it does come out thursday which is doubtfull it won't come from there inside info, an educated guess at best.

There is obviously a problem with something in the phone and it;s not skype. An educated guess by reading the blogs would be with the switchover from 3 to 4g causing dropped calls, that is a big deal and they need to know that is working properly.

People are calling this a flagship device lol.... it doesn't even have the droid logo on it and will be upstaged by the Bionic in a very short time. All the attention with the Thunderbolt is drawing the attention away from the bionic which most likely is having the same issues with the switching, once the Thunderbolt is released the Bionic willl be right behind it. Remember the Atrix is the same basically as the Bionic..... OK not exactally the same I know the specs but that will ne the flagship for a little while anyway!

Wow, this is so far off that it isn't even funny.

First, from what I hear, they both have proven track records here.

Second, if your guess is so educated, why do you think the 3G to 4G transfer is causing dropped calls if voice is not transmitted by EVDO or LTE?

Third, wtf is a "droid logo?" Whatever it is, the original Droid (a flagship phone) doesn't have it.

Fourth, the Bionic will not upstage the Thunderbolt as the Thunderbolt has some specs that are better as well as the Bionic having some specs that are better. They are meant to both be high-end devices that will compete with each other.

Fifth, if the Bionic is a flagship device and the Thunderbolt isn't, why are you claiming that the Thunderbolt is drawing so much attention away from the Bionic?

Sixth, you talk about people making unfounded claims, then say the 3G/4G handover is a Thunderbolt AND Bionic issue, based on no proof.

Seventh, the Bionic and Atrix are not "basically" the same phone. They're quite different.

In a single post you: called out people who have proven to be trusted sources, offered claims with no proof, made "educated" guesses about technology you obviously don't even comprehend, and created "facts".
And you can't spell.

I personally don't trust the BB people, and when I asked my Verizon store across my campus (I'm in tucson) a lady snapped at me, and I didn't even get to ask my question.

I don't believe any of the official channels -- they are either clueless or they are spinning stories to make managers and lawyers happy.

bingo, someone else who gets it. we'll be able to more reliably re-construct this hocus pocus after TB releases, if we still care.... IF TB releases presto on 2/24 that will be strong evidence that Apple's involvement has dominated, and that all the other chatter is just chicken feed. if it releases shortly thereafter (like 2/28) that would be evidence imho that some technical or logistics issue between HTC and VZW are at work as well, in addition to apple's desire to keep the light shining on a 3G phone that won't let you change it's battery.

That is questionable.. the original leaked spanish version did.. but of course this was a leak and was bocked shortly after release from Verizon and then when it came back it was canged to coming soon...

I think its ridiculous it has not dropped yet. Just a thought, what if they were going with something cheesey and sticking with the whole "Thunderbolt" thing and not announcing the release date until like a day before? Like you don't know when thunder is gonna strike until it does? Something like that? lol IDK but personally, i wouldn't be surprised if they announced it tomorrow for the 24th, i still want that sliver of hope haha

LOL, You can tell when thunder is gonna strike...the lightning that strikes before hand is usually the visual cue

Gotcha. From what I had read, the original said nothing, then "coming soon" was added. Didn't hear about the February thing. Thanks.

Not entirely. I believe it was in this thread, someone posted a video of them watching commercials and that commercial was on live tv in english. The evidence is out there.
