Effington.. all i can say to you is.. thats how you take a risk! Either you are going to be the man come Feb 24th (if the phone does not release) or you are going to be the fool everyone makes fun of (if the phone does release). Either way.. my hats off to you for going against the grain.


And, although I do not enjoy your pessimism, I do agree that Verizon really doesn't give a crap about any of us. It's business. You are in business to make money and the iphone is what makes money. I hate apple and even mentioning that word brings anger inside BUT.. the masses flock to it because its about as dumb a smartphone as you can get. Or, is it the smartest phone because even the dumbest person can use it?

Well said, the iPhone is basically the telecom equivalent of Justin Bieber. Extremely popular, but no one is quite sure why.....

Anyway, this is how Miami has so much cred out here - he nailed a couple of speculative dates. He probably did have some inside info on some of them, but this phone - this phone is something different. It's ready to go, but Verizon isn't announcing a date for a reason... they're in control of all this.

try the chat again the person i talked to said the 24 was a def not sure if it matters when u put ur zip in but put 20784 maybe ull get a diff rep or sumn

Maybe I am uninformed but.. i am pretty sure the Bionic is right around the corner and it slams this phone in every way possible YET.. no one cares about that phone... its all about the TB. why?

I know that to most of you, it's ridiculous to think that the iPhone would be preferable to the Thunderbolt. But the majority of people want an iPhone and LTE doesn't matter so much to them right now especially when they all know iPhone 5 is coming out this year.

Sales of the Thunderbolt will be a smidgen of what Vz's iPhones were, even now.

In every way? There's processor and...oh wait. The tb even has more ram.

The selling point is the unlocked bootloader(made the OG droid what it is today) and the massive rom/kernel support that will follow. And sense is far better than blur, imo.

Look, you don't have like me and you can be annoyed that I disagree with you. I have nothing against you though, I'm not trying to start something, so why do you feel like you have to make stuff like this up? I haven't "closed any threads." I haven't been warned about my posts or told that I'm crossing any lines. I'm disagreeing - pessimistically perhaps - but I feel like some of you are being overly optimistic.

But please, I haven't closed any threads. If a thread I was on was closed, it wasn't because of anything I said or did.

You're right - it's the Atrix that slams the TB in almost every way - except in network speeds and gimmicky accessories
