HTC Thunderbolt Release Date

Part of me wants to jump on the Thunderbolt, but this voice in my head keeps whispering to me "but it's HTC". That's my biggest fear, I've dealt with HTC both when I worked at VZW and seen the Eris and considered all HTC products as epic fails. Maybe the T-bolt will be different.

Sorry to ask but I am not as familiar with all the manufactureres but what is it about HTC that you do not like?

I am in the market for a new smart phone and want to get opinions on what to get within the next month or so.

He is referring to an old post on Black_Man_X's blog which eludes to a St. Patrick's Day release. Since, however, the Bolt has been pushed up aggressively for release (Hence all the launch date confusion). Bolt will launch at Verizon and most likely at Best Buy on February 24th (I've been saying this for a while ...). Best Buy sometimes will sell phones earlier than they should which is frowned upon by Verizon.

It's the calm before the .. ahem .. storm.

I have sent an email to the CEO of Verizon Wireless on Thursday last week. I got the following back. I have also replied with what was requested and I am waiting to hear back. The email I sent originally was about the frustration I have and we have been having with the lack of communication that Verizon has given the consumer in regards to devices and basic policies for Verizon.. Will post back when I hear..

so hot a call just now from corporate.. big news. they dont have a release date.. lol.. they did offer to call me once it goes public. i lauged and said dont worry i thik i know some guys keeping up on that.. oh and just to state officially.. they have no seret contracts with apple.. :) i bet that call made her day..
