HTC Thunderbolt Release Date

I was actually the first one to predict that the 4g pricing would stay the same....lol I had an argument with some dude way early in this forum and it almost got shut down, guess I was right though:)

We can't know for sure that it will stay the same until Verizon says it has... unless I missed something?
 
Kind of off topic, but I was looking on VZW's site and noticed that while my update date is listed as 5/15/2011, it say my NE2 only has 2 months till I can use it;

Does that mean my NE2 will actually be available 4-15? If that the case I am gonna try to make myself wait to upgrade and see what the first impressions on the Bionic are like. Odds are I'll still go with the TBolt, but I wouldn't mine saving an addition $100.
 
so with all these advertisements and pages popping up for the thunderbolt, does it indicate that the 24th is a possible release date. Is 9 days an unusual or normal time frame for a phone to actually be available after stuff like this shows up?
 
Just did a little investigation and it looks like verizon announced the release date for the droid1 8 days before its Nov 6th launch. So we have 48 hours for verizon to make a tbolt announcement if the announcement is to come 8 days before the launch.

Assuming it's the 24th of course.

The announcement by htc's ceo that they are shipping this week is a very positive sign, in my opinion.

The NE2 credit expires on 4/15 for you. Verizon discontinued that promotion. So, basically, you can't use it til 5/15 on your phone, but by then VZW will have already removed your credit. I'd call them and see if you can use it as a bill or accessory credit in a store before it expires, since you wont be able to use it on your upgrade.

Thanks for info JonsConspiracy, It is good to know they have released a phone 8 days after announcing it in the past. So... dbgooldsby, you mentioned that there was some announcement today, was that announcement one of the things from mwc this morning or are we still waiting for the one you were refering to?
