android central liveblogged the HTC event from MWC at about 4 A.M. EST this morning. nothing regarding the TB short of "they're shipping this week"

Same here, by the time it comes out it won't be much longer until even better phones come out. I know that's usually the case, but the time frame is getting shorter and shorter.

That will always be the case. HTC has said it is shipping this week.. how that could mean the release date is possibly more than 14 days away is beyond me.

Me, too. At this point I may be better off waiting for the dual core phones to come out. I really don't have any respect for companies that play these kinds of games.

This is exactly right, we can only blame ourselves for being phone junkies and reading every rumor out there. The general public has still never even heard of the phone.

Verizon is telling their Sales Managers March 1st. I hope they understand how much they are pissing everyone off (valid or not). Perception is reality and even though people really have no reason to be pissed at Verizon - they are.

I vote blame goes to Best Buy. They opened pre-orders on the 7th, and promised a lot of people it would be in on the 14th. I think that's where a lot of this madness stems from.

+1. preach, dude. VZW and HTC never gave us a date. these arent games, this is obssession and false speculation/hype letting people get their hopes up about something that was never confirmed.
