HTC Thunderbolt Release Date

Best Buy had to have gotten their 2/14 date from someone.

not sure who cause not every BB was saying the 14th, some were saying the 17th, some were saying the 24th, and some were saying we haven't been told yet, I highly doubt Verizon told BB different things at each store

Exactly. Everyone gets in a tizzy over information that has never been confirmed by the people that are responsible for the phone...Verizon. Speculations have given rise to upheaval. Until official word is released by Verizon, everything is just hearsay and conjecture. So, until Verizon states an official notice, everyone just relax, have a beer and wait until Verizon releases info. If you can't do that, get an iphone....JK!

I'm most worried about how the youtube ad was changed from saying February to Coming Soon.

That leads me to believe we might not get our hands on it until March.

They should lock this thread. If we can't keep coming back to it then maybe it will be easier to wait. I can't speak for everyone, but I've been on this thread nonstop on both my phone and laptop. I've read every single post. I've been ignoring all other threads on the forums because posts come in this thread so often.

It's been an awesome thread, but I know I'll be constantly on this thread for the next couple weeks which will make it even harder haha.

maybe seeing as we are halfway through feb it doesn't make sense to put in February, and instead coming soon means well, very soon

The NE2 credit expires on 4/15 for you. Verizon discontinued that promotion. So, basically, you can't use it til 5/15 on your phone, but by then VZW will have already removed your credit. I'd call them and see if you can use it as a bill or accessory credit in a store before it expires, since you wont be able to use it on your upgrade.

That's not even close to being correct. The NE2 does not expire by a certain date, I just called Verizon to verify that. The rep said the NE2 is not till 5-15 but never really gave me a reason why the gauge would say 2 months. I assume it only shows full months, so to it 2 months and 29 days is 2 months.

ill oblige you. i think this thread is great. people new to the wanting of this device have something to occupy their time and cement their interest in it or rid them of it entirely, while those of us scratching our necks like crack fiends have somewhere to talk about the hype and rumors and features. and apparently to hate on the iphone..

Exactly, if you have one it's yours till you use it, but it's your last one.

I'm disappointed because I don't have any devices that are DLNA capable, while I could just hook up my phone to TV if it had HDMI cable.

Your still one step ahead of me, my old a$$ crt doesn't even have HDMI. I'm hoping to use the Thunderbolt as a springboard to a new TV.
