@guitarchris123-"Could they possibly be true since you can't get the VZW iPhone at BB (hence, no return conflict)? "

BB does have the iPhone and is opening at 7am to sell it.

Also, someone mentioned earlier about the buy back program at BB lasting all month. It ends on 2/12. It was meant for superbowl tv sales. I talked to a manager about my frustration about this ending before sales of the bolt begin and she basically said too bad. damn. Now the phone will be $60. more if you want to do the buy back program.

if there's anyone to be mad at... it's Apple. :icon_twisted:

Very true, Verizon is no place for the iphone, jobs is an evil S.O.B. and unfortunately, half of this problem is because VZW is letting Apple call the shots, whether they helped the leaks along or not that was their choice.

I believe Miami stated Apple isn't letting VZW re-sell returned devices... and (Apple) are charging VZW a premium for returned devices... so I can fully understand from a financial standpoint why VZW would want to let the iPhone stand alone for a bit so as not to lose any money they don't need to.

Do I like it? No... none of us have to.... but kicking and screaming will get us no where. It is what it is... take things as they come.

We all have our own stress in our lives... no need to let a cell phone add to it :)

Yep, screw the fruit! The iPhone and its sheep are going to bog down speeds on our top network, and now Apple is affecting Android phone release dates?! Way to bend over backwards for a product you actively marketed against not too long ago (remember the "iDon't" commercials?). I realize they are in the business to make more money, but they didn't really need the iPhone as Android has been skyrocketing since its release and will soon overtake both Blackberry and iOS (if it has not already, at the end of 2010 they each had roughly a 30% market share). Way to stay loyal to what made you #1 VZW.

If Verizon and Apple had a clause in their contract that not only does not permit VZW to re-sell a returned iPhone as new, but also charges them an additional fee for each returned device, the delay to be outside the 14-day return window now makes a ton of sense. If this is true, this makes even a 2/24 release less likely (since anyone who bought on 2/10 would still be able to return in on 2/24).

Oh, my bad! I thought I had read somewhere that BB wasn't getting the iPhone, that's why it was getting "exclusivity" on the TB, as far as third party retailers. Maybe BB was just not allowed to advertise it yet (because VZW wants people to get it from their stores instead)? Not sure if that even makes sense...oh well. Thanks for clearing that up.

Nice. Here's another one. I posted this in the past on here, but it now seems even more relevant now so I'll post again for those newcomers who didn't see it last time.

why do I see hoards of people flocking to sprint or tmobile soon? I know I might if verizon doesn't come out with thunderbird by the 22nd. Plus if I start having trouble with my droid being slow or bogging down I will jump ship. All because of apple and it's stupid I phone.
