anyone notice in the fine print that it says..."1 year pricing options available..ask an associate for details.."

It was my understanding that BB cannot offer 1 year contracts...

I want a one year if we can get em...and I want it from BB...

Truthfully if this baddy doesnt come out on the 24th I will wait for something else...even if it is a dual core phone...because dual core will be optimized in the future and if its the way phones are going it makes sense.

I said I would be back on the 24th cause this hype is too much...I lied I check everyday for an update...just havent posted, that is until I saw the fine print at the bottom of this card.

I gotta bump this question...

All I've heard is that BB only does 2-year contracts. I'd ask your question in this forum:

Best Buy Details - Page 29 - Android Forums

There are a few BB employees on that thread (with jayishere as the most helpful).

I know that my best buy said they could do the one year upgrades but it would be without the discount. So basically you would be paying full price.

I still say we will get the "official release date" from Verizon tomorrow and if all goes as it has been planned we will be holding our new phones Thursday!!

On live chat right now with "Dick" at first he said no, I gave more detail and he says some stores may be able to but it is not a national thing.

Asking for a list of those stores now...

Just got back from BestBuy....gonna hit VZW later to confirm.

Thunderbolt will not be available until the 28th

I also heard a BB employee tell a customer that a hub and a switch are the same thing. Nothing they say has any validity...they have zero credibility.

Wow guys...thanks alot...Im checking out the other forums that was referenced to me Ill read through it.

Keep me posted dig.

I'm starting to think there's a quota of iphone sales Verizon is trying to reach before they launch this phone. They didn't get the hype they where hoping for so they are trying to lower iphone inventory before the TB comes out.

That's an interesting take on the situation. It sucks though, if Verizon is holding up the release of the T-Bolt - which appears to be an excellent new addition to the lineup - because of sluggish sales of the iPhone, that is a *bad* business decision.

Just stopped in my local vzw corporate store and they said Monday the 28th. Played with the zoom while I was there as well. Nice unit!
Guess that's why all the advertising going on right now.

Here is something to think about... There is a possibility that Verizon won't make a formal announcement today or tomorrow for the Thursday launch. Instead, there is a possibility that Verizon will quietly make their phones available on the 24th and then "launch" it on the 28th or whenever. Just because the ThunderBolt is Verizon's first 4G LTE handset does not mean they will make such a big deal about it. They already are advertising 4G LTE through their USB modems. The ThunderBolt probably won't be seen as the next big thing, but simply another feather in the 4G LTE cap.

Well I know what I'm about to say is a dime a dozen but I just talked with my local Verizon and they said it would be available on Thursday the 24th. I didn't ask anything beyond that though.
