HTC Thunderbolt Release Date

Anyone care to estimate the number of hours of employee productivity that have been lost due to this thread. My poor employer has lost a ton from me alone!

I'm kind of busy today so I haven't been able to keep up with the thread but I keep getting reported posts about people losing their temper in this thread.

Just remember that in the Droid Forums respect is #1. I don't want to shut the thread down because I know a lot of you are enjoying it but if I continue to get reports about people not able to control themselves. I will shut down the thread.

People are calling this a flagship device lol.... it doesn't even have the droid logo on it and will be upstaged by the Bionic in a very short time. All the attention with the Thunderbolt is drawing the attention away from the bionic which most likely is having the same issues with the switching, once the Thunderbolt is released the Bionic willl be right behind it. Remember the Atrix is the same basically as the Bionic..... OK not exactally the same I know the specs but that will ne the flagship for a little while anyway!

Did you really just use the arguement that because the TB isn't branded as a 'droid' this isn't gonna be their flagship phone when it comes out?
So what do u think is Verizon's current flagship phone? The iPhone 4? Lol...

And the atrix is similar with the bionic how? Other than the fact they are both from motorola and have dual cores how are they even remotely similar? Rams different screen size is different features are different

Lots of folks have been to BB and Verizon and have been told many dates. What makes your's different?

anyone notice in the fine print that it says..."1 year pricing options available..ask an associate for details.."

It was my understanding that BB cannot offer 1 year contracts...

I want a one year if we can get em...and I want it from BB...

Truthfully if this baddy doesnt come out on the 24th I will wait for something else...even if it is a dual core phone...because dual core will be optimized in the future and if its the way phones are going it makes sense.

I said I would be back on the 24th cause this hype is too much...I lied I check everyday for an update...just havent posted, that is until I saw the fine print at the bottom of this card.

Anyone stop to think the 2 seconds in the ad is possibly 2 days? Interesting to see if the count goes down in the next few days.... just a thought.

Look for it the earliest and I am saying the earliest is the 3rd best guess is the 10th of March and that still is with the 1st Qtr which Verizon has said, it even is earlier than the end of the qtr which they tweeted say maybe sooner than expected and that quote was the only one that I know of from the horses mouth.

Best Buy will say anything and blame it on Verizon, they are the ones that have openly said dates, never once has Verizon. In the meentime you and alot of other people are going into BB and maybe while you are there picking up a movie maybe a cable or something else you need, Veryu creative when you think about it when you can pass the blame onto someone else but you keep going back lol...

personally i just want the phone to come out so i can look at it in person and see if i'm interested in getting it. i think i am but i'm hesitant because of all the money/effort i put towards the incredible i got in december. getting the thunderbolt would be worth it and i doubt i would be disappointed but i won't know anymore until i'm holding it in a verizon store. i'm hoping for a 24th release date... if it's out that day and i get it i'll be able to fully customize it since i have a few hours free between jobs

... just noticed the retail price for this phone. yeah, i'm probably not getting it. if i upgraded in september i might want to fork over the 700 but since i got a phone in december i can't bring myself to do it. what are the chances of verizon selling it for a cheaper price at full retail or it being available on ebay at a decent price? amazon?

I'm starting to think there's a quota of iphone sales Verizon is trying to reach before they launch this phone. They didn't get the hype they where hoping for so they are trying to lower iphone inventory before the TB comes out.
