HTC Thunderbolt Release Date

Ugh if it is seriously delayed again I don't even know what I'm going to do. I absolutely REQUIREa new phone but I want to get the best thing at the time I purchase it as I probably won't buy another one until I'm due for an upgrade. This is so stressful! haha

That is exactly where I am. I almost got an X about a month ago, but decided to try to hold out until the TB. My current D1 is a flaming pile of poo and doesn't always receive calls, it's really slow/laggy (it takes my homescreen 20 seconds for the icons to show up) and it will not root without going into some sort of panic attack.

Just quietly watching this thread, and other news about the TB release.

So with the ad out in public has anyone taken it to BB to see what they say???

I havent. It says on the front page "Prices and offers good February 20-26, 2011".

Im really not sure why the dropped the ad so early. I know many times they have a mid-week ad, but it is usually small, and mostly appliances. This is the full Sunday ad, all 24 pages of it.

HTC Thunderbolt Being Pushed Back Past February 24th?

This "blog" has only been around a month, and no one has ever heard of it. I don't see how this person can have a "reliable" inside contact of any kind, otherwise, the real bloggers would be all over it. Especially when he says it was a Best Buy contact, as we know, Best Buy will not know when it can start selling the phone until Verizon tells them they can (unless they can start selling them this Sunday, because of the ad, if they have them in stock by then). And production issues? The CEO of HTC stated they are shipping this week, doesn't sound like a production issue to me. This site seems bogus to me, just trying to generate site traffic most likely.

But on topic:
So I just called my BB to see if I could come in before the 24th because of the ad and they told me if they have it on the 20th or 21st I WILL get a call to come pick it up.

I'm going to wait until Sunday, then go up there to see if they my pre-order yet, and if they don't I'll try to get some sort of free accessory out of it because of their misleading ad.

It has a lot more to do with the release of this phone than what a lot of people have been talking about in here the past 2 days, I mean, coke/pepsi, chargers, etc. come on...

I know we wanted to keep the thread on topic, but a question about a source for chargers or docks doesn't need to be commented on several times. And a poll about an accessory is not more relevant than 3 posts about an accessory. You can let one post go, let's not get too uptight.
