i followed this thread in about a week and there's too many pages to attempt to read right now... what's the latest information on the thunderbolt?

do we know a release date?

do we know any new confirmed information?

what's new?

Apologies if this has been asked and answered but am I correct that the TB uses the same type USB port as the Droid (micro?)? So the many of us upgrading from the OG Droid can use the same AC and car chargers? It seems Seidio's proposed TB accessories list the Droid, X, 2 under the TB charger compat list.

Each of my past phone upgrades have usually meant a new investment in chargers so this would be nice as extra chargers are a must in today's world.

i havent seen this question yet. but short of the iSuck, i havent seen a phone in a while that doesnt use microUSB. so you're safe for them. as for cardocks or multimedia home docks, youll have to drop the cash.

I have had some history with Samsung's proprietary ports in the past not to mention going back to my Treos. And yes, I've already written ProClip (my car dock of choice) to make sure they have a headstart on a car holder for the TB. I had done the same when the Droid first came out. I even helped tweak their original design when it came out as it had a "bug".

Well Samsung uses the same charger as Motorola now. I can confirm this easily because I was just at VZW and the old lady got a new Samsung. The rep said ALL Samsung phones use the same charger now, and its the same USB as the D1.

good stuff. if you see they have a good car dock let me know! i love having it hanging right there when im driving.

I like their system of the two customized pieces: one for the car and one for the phone. Classy look, secure, convenient and way nicer than those stupid suction cup mounts. Pricey for sure but when you change either your car or your phone, you buy only the piece you need. I think I'm on my 3rd or 4th phone mount for the same car mount. Maybe I need a new car some day but all my money goes to phones! Sorry if OT.

well its not relevant and for that i apologize to everyone. but rather than continue, can you pm me a link to them? i in fact had a suction mount for the d1 and it ALWAYS falls. besides being an inconvenience, if i get one and my TB breaks as a result, i will burn down my verizon outlet.

If you are interested, maybe use Contact Us link to send an email to them requesting the TB holder. In that way, they'll get more "market input" for the device and you'll be notified when it's ready to order.

the news of the atrix coming on the 22nd is the best news ive heard in a while. This should speed up the release of the t-bolt real quick.Thank you at@t!

Ugh if it is seriously delayed again I don't even know what I'm going to do. I absolutely REQUIREa new phone but I want to get the best thing at the time I purchase it as I probably won't buy another one until I'm due for an upgrade. This is so stressful! haha

Production issues, huh? This phone, assuming it's also the phone formerly known as the HD Inc, is cursed.

Unlocked makes it tempting, but I'm staying away. Eyeing the Bionic.

I dont know how much I believe the delay.. The commercial is not on TV, along with the update on Verizons site.. The phone cant be too far off from now, I wouldnt think.. Although the 24th hasnt even been announced as a official release date it seemed logical, and if Verizon has pushed the release back even farther I think they should come out and say something, not having it come from a BB rep.. So I am not going to believe anything until I see it official said by Verizon..
