how to know if app is successful?

I currently have 1000 download for my app but only have 389 current users. With that said is my app bad/okay/Great. I get good reviews but I'm guessing they get board of it fast. What do you think?

I have more of a 50/50 ratio of active installs/downloads. Dont know what the best ratio would be in reality.
