Put a file manager application on your android phone (Astro). Make sure the "can install from other sources" is changed.
Connect your Droid to PC via USB and mount the SD Card.
Copy the apk files to the SD Card.
Unmount the SD Card and disconnect from the PC.
Now, fire up your File manager and open the folder where you put the apk files. You should be able to long-touch an apk and get a menu of things to do and one should be install
One thing, mac version for all that?
I realize that the Droid is more of a windows oriented device, but not all that different from a mac, just the apps for get started are needed.
EDIT: Sorry just saw that they have ot for a mac as well, THANKS )
You guys kick butt!!!! This worked great. I installed a file manager and I am off and running installing all sorts of stuff.
