How to boot into recovery.

Just got a used Droid X running 2.3.3 version 4.5.605.MB810.

Got the phone rooted in a couple minutes using the 1 click root. Now I'm trying to get into clockworkmod Recovery to make a backup. I installed Rom Manger. Flashed ClockworkMod for Droid X. When I choose boot into recovery in ClockworkMod, the phone just reboots like normal.

I've been reading through these threads. Do I now need to download Droid X Bootstrap? Then use that to enter ClockworkMod Recovery?

Any info is appreciated.

Thanks.
