How many Widgets is too many?

I have DROID 1 2.2.


I suppose it also depends on what widget you are using. I am trying to solve the Home Screen Dissapearing Issue bug.

I currently use :
-Power Control
-Google Search
-ESPN Scorecenter
-CBS News
-Calander Pad

hate to state the obvious, but did you try running them one at a time with your most importants first until you see that redraw issue on the home screen.

so add you most important one only, if it works then add another one, then another until you find the breaking point.

Well, I removed them all and still had a Launcher Restart (Icons Dissapear) happen. So it may be an app, not a widget.
