How do you turn off and on 4G on the Galaxy S3?

I am having a hard time figuring this out. If some could walk me through it I would appreciate it, thanks.

They were doing something with the towers in my area a couple of weeks ago that was causing data drops on my s3, I stopped by the Verizon store to ask about a new sim card. The guy said he had been fielding that complaint all day, including the guy right in front of me who was using a Maxx. He said to turn off 4g for the rest of the day and turn it back on tomorrow. The two of us looked for about 10 minutes and couldn't find a way to do it. There may be an app in the Play Store that will do it, but neither of us could find a setting in the stock setup.

Download Phone Info from the play store and change it to CDMA Auto (PRL)

djspy is correct. You'll need Phone Info. Here's an existing thread on the topic - want 3g only help please!!!
