A few weeks back the new nav bar for Nexus devices was leaked. We started to see some themes arrive that included the new nav bar, and there was even a flashable zip to add this nav bar to whatever Rom you are running. The most intriguing part of the new nav bar is the "flower" home button. Some of you thought it looked tacky, while others thought it looked pretty neat. It turns out there is actually more to this home button.
The new home button integrates with Google Assistant. If you turn off Google Now the four dots on the home button disappear. Long pressing the home button actually causes the home button to animate. The four dots form a line and then retract back to the home button. This change should arrive later in 2016 possibly along with the new Nexus devices.
