As far as the UI is concerned the Android N Developer Previews have shown us that we will not get a major design overhaul. There is however one major change to the UI design that we expect to see. A new refreshed Nav Bar is expected to arrive with the first official build of Android N. Leaked images have shown that it will include an all white back button and recent apps button, as well as a Nexus logo like home button. It is unclear as to whether we will see this across devices or just with the Nexus lineup.
Either way you can try this new Nav Bar right now. The only requirement is that you be running CyanogenMod as this Nav Bar will be applied via the CM theme. The Nav Bar comes in the form of an app which I will link to below. This will work with both CM12 or CM13 theme managers. You should not install this if you are running stock.
