Help! Hardware keys open application

I'm not sure if this is a feature that comes with the MIUI rom but there are certain times in the day when i press either the G, S, E or some other hardware keys (i forgot the others), those keys would bring up my email (g), messages (s) and i think browser (e). Anyone having this issue? I'm using 1.6.3 right now but its been the issue with several of the miui roms.

Go to menu /applications /quick launch. From there you should be able to disable it. May be different since you're on miui but that's where it is for me.

I already tried that and no cigar. Its not all the keys just really random ones. It also happens at random times. After I reboot my phone it usually goes away
