CRAZY keyboard issue with D1

I've been using this ROM since the 12/31 build and have LOVED it so far!! Aside from the MMS issue, I think it's the best I've tried by far.

After I initially flashed the 1.14 build, I started having my physical keyboard acting very strangely. When using emial, gchat, or texting.. often the key presses are not recognized correctly, or the wrong letter is used.

Also, when starting a text, the backspace key will go nuts.. at first it will delete letters VERY slowly.. then nothing, then it will either type "hu" every time I press it, or it will launch my email app!!

I tried restoring my backup with the 1.7 build, but the same issue has occured.

Before I flash another ROM, I thought I'd ask if anyone has seen a similar issue.. I'm not ready to try something else!

Wow, this is really odd. My keyboard is working fine on 1.1.14 and was working fine for the week i had 1.1.7 running. hopefully its not a hardware issue, but it could be since even a nandroid restore didn't fix it. May be time to call Verizon and get a replacement droid.

I'm having trouble with the virtual keyboard. When I tap on a box to fill in data, like a user name or a password, the keyboard doesn't always pop up. I've never had that problem before.

I just started having this issue tonight where there's a major lag in the keyboard and even when I type really slow it seems to have a mind of its own. Really annoying. I've refired a couple times and it seems to work better but then starts reacting slowly again. I'm on the most recent bulrushes with slayher 1.1. Not running many apps and haven't installed anything new in the past week...

Any advice?
