Google Latitude not working after update

I updated to Sapphire 1.1.1 and also updated maps on the same day. Now I cannot log into google latitude. Every time I open maps it immediately says "login failed". Then when I click menu>join latitude it sends me to the google sign in screen. I enter my google account information and it says the account already exists on my device.

Anyone else having this problem and know of a solution?

It seems like this is a Sapphire bug because my girlfriend updated her maps and has no problem joining latitude. (she has a stock droid)

thoughts?

Check your notification pulldown. Usually when you get the login failed message there is a pulldown notification that you can click to login and it'll work.

haha. WOW, I can't believe I didn't think to click on the notification instead of clicking the clear button. Worked perfectly. Thanks Vicious!

same problem.

I tried the notification. It prompted me to enter the special characters. I did, and am still getting the same error about "account already exists"

Anyone have any other solutions?
