Gmail Question D2G

I had this problem with D2 and am still having this problem with D2G.

On my Gmail inbox it shows that I have a certain number of emails, when I go to the inbox and it loads the conversations nothing shows up.

I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I must some how am not syncing it correctly. Any thoughts.

Can you send and receive? If so you are set up correctly.
Have you logged in via a PC to see if the email actually has content?

Yes I receive some, then I delete the emails. Yet up in the corner it still shows that I have emails.

YES I have emails on the PC.

I have found that the new email notification will stay when the inbox has no new email, the new email was labeled and not showing in the inbox.
