I'm rooted as well but like STG stated you can pretty much do all the same without root..

I just spent the past several hours making one of my paintings into a 3D live wallpaper I used "3D parallax Background" which allows for 3 different layers. After photoshopping my painting into the separate layers to get this to work, this is what I now have =D I'm probably going to keep tweaking this design for a while until I get it just right. My widgets need a lot of work. I just put up what I was previously using on my nexus.



I tried to make a video of the 3D effect, but I think I was moving the phone too fast to really let it pick up the look. I'm used to shooting time lapse videos of my paintings...not of my phone
