Just got my Nexus yesterday love it. First ? I have is when I pick it up and turn the screen on and unlock it goes right to the camera. What am I doing wrong? Thanks Wayne

There is a shortcut for the camera if you swipe the unlock to the left. Swiping to the right should unlock the phone normally.

From the lock screen there are 2 options. To the left will take you into the camera, the right will un-lock it into the phone.
