Extended Battery

Hello everyone,
I am new to this site and to the android world so if this question has been asked before, I'm sorry,...couldn't find it. Anyway, my question is this. I have just purchased an extended battery for my Rezound. Do I still need to use Juice Defender for battery life, or did the extended battery take care of that problem? Thanks :)

I never used Juice and I never thought I needed it even with a stock battery. And I just got an extended battery yesterday. Just keep your 4g/3g/wifi off unless you're actully using it. Keep the screen brightness in auto or turned down. There are a lot of other tweaks you can do where you won't need Juice. I've tried it and for me JD is a waste of time. Most of their automatic settings I already had set. Right now I have 32% battery left and I'm going on 26 hours on a single charge with moderate to high useage. Surfing and games mostly. On a stock battery, it would have been long dead.
