Has there been any hint of any shred of new information on the release of GB on the D2G? Its killing me. I work with Google on technical support for the eBooks, and I haven't heard anything from them... but maybe just maybe it will release soon! Damn u Motorola! GB is already ready to go ( we all know it ) and we just need moto to release it! Enough of the waiting game... I really just need to go to an HTC, or Samsung... basically a flagship device...

To the best of my knowledge you will need to unroot first.

And then, for now, stay unrooted as there is currently no root for the OTA update.

Don't forget to delete bootstrap from system...That will stop the update in its tracks

right now, it seems only a select people are getting the update, but once it rolls out to everyone, all you need to do is make sure you have all the stock apps and have the phone unrooted, my suggestion is that you sbf to get the update.

Im hoping they select me for the soak test ( since I have done it before with the cliq ) and an sbf will unroot and all that? It will do all I need?

yeah, an sbf returns your phone to its factory state, essentially how it came out of the box, so it will be unrooted and un-bootstrapped, i think were all hoping to be a part of the soak test, but im sure that once the soak test begins, it will only be a matter of days until its rolled out to everyone else.

+1 Thanks! this will help alot! if i am part of the soak test, i will be sure to jump on the sbf and all that
