Eris hard reset now no connection

I let my sister play the guess my password game on my phone and i couldnt get it to unlock with my email (another bug with eris) but after that i hard reset my phone. Little did I know theres another bug that after you hard reset the eris you wont be able to do anything? its as if my phone isnt even registered with verizon? I was just wondering if there is any fix for this because i dont want to bring my phone in.
