I bought my Droid 2 Global on January 13th, 2011. Over the last week or so, several specks of dust have managed to work their way under the upper left corner of my touchscreen. I can't tell where they got in, and they're not particularly visible except in very bright situations, but I'd certainly like it if they weren't there.
As far as I can tell from other threads, this is a manufacturing defect for which VZW should replace the phone. I know the period to exchange for a different model was 30 days, but is there a similar period on defects?
I'd like to know for sure before I potentially waste an hour or two driving to the corporate store near me and trying to convince them to replace it.
EDIT: Just to clarify, I didn't buy insurance on the phone; however, this doesn't seem like an insurance issue.
