The Droid RAZR is about to get a nice update. It has several bug fixes and improvements. here's a breakdown:
  • SIM error notification has been fixed
  • Improved camera features and quality
  • Improved stability of menu access, browser, phone dialer, video playback and music player to prevent force-close errors and lockups
  • Updated group message notification in e-mail
  • Improvement in 3G/4G data connectivity
  • Maintain network connection upon completion of a voiec call
  • Background color has been adjusted to improve readability in Lapdock connection UI menu items.
It looks like one of the best phones available just got better! Look for it to come OTA at any time now.

That is very good news.....so how many times can I check for the update on my phone before I qualify for some type of ocd disorder...?

too late you've already surpassed that number :)

I'm hoping this update doesn't jack up my already "perfectly" functioning handset. I have no connectivity issues now and I don't want any introduced via a software update..

I was afraid of that....and I am with you on the update...I hope it doesn't upset my perfect setup...

+1 with this. Almost tempted to freeze an app just so I can wait and see how good the update is first before it comes on my device.

I was just informed that this may be a soak test. If so I'm going back and freezing my apps then.

Yes correct its a soak. If you registered at Motorola's forums you were or were not picked to participate. I'm registered there but have not received any notifications /emails from them yet.

It rolled out today so I'm going to assume my number wasn't called.

I am registered too....have been for quite some time now....like OG droid days....

Hoping I get "called" tomorrow as I will be on stock ROM tomorrow to continue with my experiment of SA vs JD
