Sounds like you got a trainee or overflow center or something. 1) you can't get the $50 per phone Bing cashback for phone orders. 2) If you start here you'll see the page with the Droid at $119.99 plus $50 per phone from Bing. Click on RENEW/UPGRADE, select your plan, and you can upgrade your lines. You have to select from one of the currently-available Droid plans, and you have to be eligible for an upgrade with Verizon. Free activation ends Thursday.didn't click on the wrong thing, I CALLED. Of course I got a guy whose first language wasn't English.... but he made it clear that I wasn't going to start new with them I couldn't upgrade but he would let me add a line and get that price.....
NO thanks, that is another $120 a year on a two year contract, makes the phone $240 bucks more in the long run......
Went to 3 verizon stores today, 2 told me to go away and come back in Sept 10. The third one said I could have the phone for $369 with $100 rebate and a new two year contract on that phone. I am toying with that idea now, unless I can find anything better.......
$50 Bing cashback is valid on any phone purchased from Wirefly.com, regardless of price or service plan selected, EXCEPT FOR Prepaid phones priced under $99.99.CONFIRMED: no $50 cash back on service plan less than $99
I got my info from having gotten this deal myself! You are right about the double negative though. It's confusing!Bing cashback does not apply to orders of accessories, or prepaid phones and phones without a service plan priced below $99.99
The text above is from bings own link...and i called once and had a web conversation once with wirefly's help desk...both times they confirmed you needed a plan of at least $99. the bing info link is very confusing with its double negative language
FIS where did you get your info....i sure would like to get that $50 on a $39.99 service plan....that why i initially asked if any on has actually gotten this deal on a plan of less than $99.
Thanks for posting the cheaper price from dell. I will be going to BB tonight to get my droid as my contract is up today for an upgrade. I have $100 in gift cards to BB so mine will cost me $20.00 + tax if they honor the dell ad.
BB offers free activation? Also, my wifes phone is primary on the account, I will need to tell them to activate the 2nd line, correct?
Will post with my results.
Bought my Droid last night at BBY. They price matched the Dell online offer for $119.99. They took another $50.00 off that price since I was up for a new phone w/ 2 year contract extension. My wife got the Droid Eris as well. I had $100.00 gift card to BBY, so they Droid and Eris cost me $28.00 out of pocket... not too shabby.

Where are you located? I went into my local Best Buy in the San Fernando Valley yesterday and the salesman there told me BB doesn't give you the NE2 credit if you buy from them. If they did, and would price match the Dell Offer, I'd buy from them in a heartbeat, but right now it's looking like my best deal is through Verizon On-Line. $199-$100NE2 credit = $99.
If BB would price match dell and give me my NE2 credit, I'd get it for $19.99.
Either way, I'm getting my Droid (and my first smartphone!) this weekend. Looking forward to it....
^ nice! my BB won't price match at all.

Sorry, forgot to mention - I'm a long time Verizon customer who has the grandfathered $100 NE2. I think most people now only get $50 credit for the NE2.
