Droid Incredible Ultimate droid boot loops upon first boot

I installed Ultimate Droid 2.5 on a friends phone and it is boot looping at the droid eye screen and just keeps doing that. This was on the first boot. I did do a back up and doing a recovery right now so we should be fine. But how do I fix this.


I DL'd UD 3.0 and will try it after I finish doing his restore.

Tried UD 3.0 and had the same exact problem....

Help please?

I have had that problem when I forgot to do a wipe before flashing a new ROM.

If you happened to forget that, I would go back and try again. Even if you didn't forget, I would go back and try again. Strange things sometimes happen.

Aren't backups a wonderful thing?

Good advice above. Reinstall rom. But also keep in mind that the first boot is really, really slow. I can't tell you how many times I've been about ready to pull the battery when all of a sudden the vibrate happens and the boot finishes.
