I can't stand my droid,, I want a palm
Let me talk to you about the Pre Plus. I currently have one as well as an Envytouch, Envy3, Nokia Twist, BB Storm, Storm II, Tour, Droid and the Eris. (The joys of working for a cell phone company I have 5 lines I upgrade every 10 months WOOT WOOT! Enough gloating)
Few thing I have recognized about the Pre that you may want to know about before making the switch.
Apps. So many apps you have to pay for. There are a lot of apps but the amount of free apps on the Droid blows the amount of free apps away on the palm.
Keyboard. No on screen keyboard. I personally like the qwerty keyboard the pre has but if you have big hands its a pain to type on.
Performance is about the same as the droid. Screens change about the same rate and battery life is 6's.
Form: I actually really like the Pre. It feels good next to my face.
Navigation isn't close to the droid with gps with navigation.
Browsing: about the same. I like the pinch to zoom in the native browser, however the droid has it with Dolphin, not a big selling point for me.
Email: about the same. No real differences, Pre you can have 17 email accounts on the device.
HUGE loss for the Pre. NO VIDEO. You cannot record video on the pre.
Saving pictures. you can also not save a picture on the web by selecting it. YOu have to zoom in screen shot it and crop it. Huge pain
Camera is 3.0 vs 5.0
