Droid 2 Global Phone

REALLY new to this, but I found out the Droid 2 Global works on both a CDMA and GSM networks. I am currently with a CDMA network that doesnt use Sim cards. Is there a way so that I can use a Droid 2 Global on my network without switching to Verizon?
