Changing physical keyboard on the droid 2 global

Hi, I have a droid 2 cdma version (black) and a droid 2 global (white).
The cdma works completely. It boots into 49 seconds.
The GSM droid global boots and sometimes it´s stuck on logo. Then I get the battery out and in again,
hope that reboots normally until it does.

I have an issue with the physical keyboard on the D2G, I can´t write with it, only fey keys seem to work.
For example on a text field I can´t erase or go back with the arrow keys.

Since the internal components seem to be at best equally the same, I was thinking to disassemble
my CDMA version and place that keyboard on the D2G.

Has anyone tried that in this forum?

Otherwise the real problem seems to be a circuit with the external keys. Cam hardware button doesn´t work, volume goes up or down,
depending on the day...and basically I´m afraid to go into bootloader because I don´t know if the arrow keys will work.
I´ve done factory reset, but this definetly looks like a hardware problem.

Please any recommendations before dissasembling both devices?
Thanks.

Bests.
David.
