Does 0.5.2 include root access?

I just installed that rom this morning and I did not see a ninja in the apps. I assumed that this rom was different than the BB that I had installed the other day. When I went to Set CPU it said I didn't have root access.

I'm new to this stuff and it's confusing me...

Yes it has root, but why would you install such an old version when the latest version offers so much more?

Yeah, I know I should update, but, anyway, none of my root apps work...

There is no Superuser app, either.

Flash it just like you did the ROM. Rename to update.zip and boot into recovery, etc.
