[ROM] [GB Sense] Simply Stunning 0.2 BETA - 08/16/11

Many of you are familiar with my work on the OG Droid and DroidX. This is my first TB rom - so please be gentle

. It is based on jcase's Gingerjane 1.3, which is a 2.01.605.0 build. Gingerbread 2.3.4, Sense 2.1. It comes with nerozehl's dream kernel 2.3.6 which is forked from imeyoson and has added features. Go HERE to read all about it (permission was requested from nerozehl).

This took a LONG time for me to get ready, as I'm somewhat of a perfectionist, and there was a LOT of theming to do. On my AOSP rom's I have had a fair bit of help from some talented people on that end of things - with this rom I did it all myself (and that may become apparent, lol!).

I typically like to build AOSP rom's straight from source code (using CM7 as my base), as I have quite a few personal tweaks in framework. However, since RIL is different for the TB, I haven't had time to go through Slayher's code and try to merge into framework - hence I have created this Sense-based ROM (which a few prefer anyway!). That being said - there will be some of you that just will NOT like this rom!

I have included a few apps in the data partition as well - this means you can uninstall using normal means. Since I have uploaded the ROM, I am seeing the version of wifi-tether I include is not the best-working version. I suggest uninstalling what I have provided, and install this version instead:

As far as I know (I have had only 2-3 people test it) - everything works. Feel free to mirror this if you hear others complain of slow downloads. Please post up any bugs you might find within this thread!

Had SS on my OG droid, just upgraded to a Tbolt and I find this! Can I just flash this rom after wiping of course and be good or do I need any radios or anything?

Nice to see Chevy developing for the Thunderbolt, hopefully he will come out with an AOSP rom sooon.

The Rom runs great the only thing is I wish it had the music app the music widget and the calculator

I'm sure you will need to use MR2, or MR2.5 since its a GB rom

Look great. I used to run SS on my Droid, I was one of the people that would update the same day a new SS rom was released. I stalked the page. I'll have to try this out with I get some free time.

Always loved SS on my Moto original Droid! Flashed this as soon as it was released but couldn't get any network 3G or Wifi to work. Been playing with BAMF RC4.9 GB for about a week and all was working except for Wifi. I tried everything I could and finally got it working after installing using CW recovery. I'm now using Boot Manager so I can play with a couple different roms and just loaded SS 0.2 again and YAY!!!

it's working. I'm running the lastest GB radio btw.
Thanks Chevy! Awesome to be running your ROM again. Only other thing I need is Exchange/ActiveSync mail.
