I booted back into recovery one more time, updated, and everything is back to normal it seems, but I lost root.

I will definitely give your 1.4 rom a try as I don't think it was the rom that caused the problem, it couldve been anything.

I'll let you know how it goes.

What do you mean you lost root? What method did you use to root?

very odd. well please try my latest release 1.4 and tell me how it goes. this is it for tonight though i will be back tomorrow to answer any more questions

I can't seem to find your 1.4 release....I was thinking about porting my theme but really don't want to start until i have the one that doesn't require i install 2 versions...
