Contacts gone?!?

Just noticed that all my contacts have gone missing. There were on the phone this morning but just got a text message from the wife and it no longer shows her name only the number. The same goes for all others that I have text messages from. What gives here?

If you sync with google is just means their server is down or mis communicating with your phone. Just check the sync settings and reboot your phone. When my contacts get "lost" like that I just reboot and it syncs again.

If they do come back I recommend exporting them to your sd card that way they will always be there as well so you want have to worry about them being lost

What you should try to do is import them from your SD card. See if they aren't there. When you are in contacts go to settings/more/import contacts.

Just go to your contacts hit menu>import/export>export to SD card

Don't blame me my head and hands posted it.

Well no luck. Ended up having to re-enter them manually. Lesson has been learned...back up the ol contacts. Thanks for all the suggestions guys!
