Connecting to Exchange through Email App

Hi all.

I have an odd problem. I have touchdown, and can connect to my exchange server just fine with it. If I try to connect to my exchange server through the native email app, when setup is Checking Incoming server settings, I get an error, "Unable to open connection to server"

Now, I know that the server is accepting connections, because touchdown works. Any suggestions?

...and you're sure that the Exchange account is set up identically in both apps?
