clockworkmod recovery

Ok I rooted my Moto droid, everything went smooth and bought rom manager and installed the free version also. now when trying to download roms it says that I must have clockworkmod recovery installed before continuing. i hit install and here is the message. "an error occured while attempting to run privileges comands!' I did uninstalled rom manager and reinstalled and nothing works. Please help

Open up ROM Manager, then push the menu button, clear download cache and try flashing again. Should work.

same error. ok now where can I find froyo 2.2 with using sp recovery. tired of trying rom manager? just need some step by step to do it.

You can flash a rom in SP. It needs to be renamed update.zip and placed on the root of your sd. Go into sp recovery and install the update.zip. Its been a while since I've used SP, but this will work. You'll have to download the rom from a pc and place it on your sd. What rom are you trying to flash? I know Smart7 is trying to help, but his sig. says HTS Wildfire. Only flash Droid 1 roms on your phone.
