Need help with rom manager

I have a Motorola Droid 1 rooted. I am trying to flash a rom that I backed up a few weeks ago. My phone is currently on FLASH CLOCKWORKMOD RECOVERY: SPRECOVERY 0.99.3B and when I try to change to the latest recovery: CLOCKWORKMOD 2.5.0.1 I get the following message:

"AN ERROR OCCURED WHILE ATTEMPTING TO RUN PRIVILEGED COMMANDS"

I tried uninstalling and re-installing the rom manager and well as manually load the rom (Power button - X) but nothing seems to work.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Rom manager isn't that reliable. Try buying the verizon tab bootstrapper from the market. I use it all the time. Works perfect for me.

Liberated Droid2 Yo!!
