Can't see my groups after...

Creating them through google! I have Verizon with assistant plus but I don't use it. I would like to use the new groups I just created! How can I access them? I've tried spelling the name out and even going to the group directly but there is no way to message them.

The group messaging function was lost with Jelly Bean.
There's a thread in the forums and if my memory serves me there's an app that works for group texts. Seems like it was called GroupU...
