Cannot update to lastest version of gmail from market - Sapphire 1.1.1

I cant update to the latest gmail using the market. Anyone else having the same issue?

1. download/install Titanium Backup from market
2. uninstall gmail
2a. ->choose Backup/Restore header
2b. -->browse to gmail
2c. --->press on gmail, choose uninstall
3. reboot device
4. market download/install gmail

Note: this also works with other apps that have errors installing.

Or from a terminal window:

su
sysrw
cd /system/app
rm Gmail.apk
reboot

After rebooting go to the market and install the update.
