And the answer is no, unfortunately. We are hopeful however since the same phone is being (*or has been) released overseas under the name Moto Maxx. Being that the overseas model isn't on Verizon's network, it will likely not be locked down like this one is, and therefore any possible exploits should be far more accessible and hopefully can be ported over to this version.

That said, the encryption used to lock the Verizon version's bootloader is so deep and strong it's been said it would take an eternity and all the computing power of the most sophisticated computer mainframe system available today to crack it using Brute Force cracking techniques. So we're hopeful that a simple method comes along. Still, I wouldn't be holding my breath.
