I'm new here and this is my first post. I first off just want to say I love the forums. You can find so much valuable information here. Here's my problem. I'm currently on a family plan through Verizon with my grandfather. He is the primary account holder. Our two year contract is up and we are ready to upgrade our phones. My question is can I open up a new account with Verizon under my name and put him on my account as well and keep our current phone numbers?? Was going to purchase a couple of new phones from Amazon Wireless and didn't know if this could be done without being required to get new phone numbers. I likethe extra savings you get with phones from opening a new account rather than upgrading your current one. Thanks for your help. :)

it will be better for you to contact with verizon representative; they let you know about this. i hope that you will do it better:icon_ lala:

Most carriers have the option to port/keep your number.

Tapped from a Galaxy Nexus using Xparent ICS
